Day One

Leipoldtville

Elands Bay

Take the road pass the Muisbosskerm in a southern direction 34 kilometers from Lambert's Bay you will find Leipoldtville.Turn back to intersection and turn left to Elands Bay(20km). Most of the road is tarred, however take care of the gravel pathces.

The fishing village of Elands Bay is well known for it's lobster and excellent surfing conditions.
The Verlorenvlei an coastal lake near Elands Bay is one of the most rewarding birding destination in the Western Cape.

Day Two

Graafwater

Clanwilliam

Depart from Lambert's Bay on the R364, 30 kilometers from Lambert's Bay on the left lies the small village of Graafwater, continue with the R364 to Clanwilliam (30 kilometer)

Clanwilliam is one of the ten oldest towns in the country and very rich in history.
Attractions:

• Ramskop Nature Reseve
• Rooibos Factory
• Old Jail Museum
• Leipoldts grave

Day Three

Doring Bay

Doring Bay

Depart from Lambert's Bay on the R364 and turn left onto the gravel road (7 km). Travel another 20 kilometer and turn left to Doring Bay(21km).

From here you can continue to Strandfontein(7km) and Lutzville(21km) and return via Vredendal to Lambert's Bay.

The panoramic view of the harbour and lighthouse is a sight that you will never forget.
